1 1/2 cups walnuts
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup baking Splenda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large egg whites
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Put walnuts, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until walnuts are ground as small as possible.
In a medium bowl, mix walnut mixture and egg whites until well-combined. You don’t have to beat the egg whites since you’re not making macaroons.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment-covered baking sheets. Mixture might be runny--dependent on egg whites. Mine are generally the consistency of slightly-thinned peanut butter.
Bake 15-20 minutes until just set.
Cool on parchment on baking sheets.
