Easy Black Bean Dip

Ingredients: 

2 - 15 oz cans black beans, drained and rinsed (reserve ¼ cup black bean liquid)
1 teaspoon olive oil
½ medium red onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 Tablespoons lime juice
½ Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped + extra for garnish
yogurt or sour cream for topping (optional)
