MINI BRIE & PEAR TARTS

Notes: 

The original recipe called for a Granny Smith apple. I would use a Bosc pear instead, and triple cream Brie. A friend suggested serving them drizzled w/ honey and sprinkled w/ walnuts. The original recipe notes that crescent rolls could be used in place of puff pastry.

1 box (2 sheets) of puff pastry, thawed
1 Bosc pear (or Granny Smith apple)
1 medium wedge brie (triple cream)
1 egg, beaten
Flour (for rolling)
