Red Wine Beef Stew

Ingredients: 

1-2 lbs stew meats
1/2 white onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
3/4 lb pearl/cippolini onions
2 cups dry red wine
2 cups beef broth
2-3 carrots, chopped
3/4-1 1/2 lb red potatoes
parmesan rind (optional)

Spices
salt and pepper
smoked paprika
2 sprigs thyme
2 bay leaves
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
chopped parsley
crusty bread
