* 1 cup all purpose flour
* 1 cup ice cold water
* 12 Large or King Prawns
* Vegetable oil for frying
* Slat and pepper
1. Remove the shell from the king prawns. If you like you can leave the tail on for decoration. Devein by removing the thin black line. Then score the back.
2. On the inside of the prawn score three lines horizontally, this will give the prawn greater length.
3. Dry shimp on paper towel. 4. Mix the plain flour with the water in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Heat the oil which you will use to fry the Tempura to 340 - 350 degrees. 6. Lightly flour shrimp. Then dip the shrimp into the tempura mix and place into the hot oil. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes until crisp.
