Spicy Balsamic Greens with Bacon

Notes: 

You can pretty much use any green in this recipe. Feel free to modify the amount of balsamic, chili sauce, any ingredient really.

Ingredients: 

A bunch of broccoli rabe, chopped
1/2 cup chopped shallots
1/4 cup minced bacon
2 tbls balsamic vinegar
1 tbls chili sauce
1 tbls peanut oil (I like unrefined for the nutty flavor)


  1. Saute the bacon & peanut oil on medium high heat for a few minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  2. Add the shallots & sauted for a few more minutes.
  3. When the shallots start to get soft throw in the broccoli rabe. Keep frying everything on medium high heat stirring frequently for a about 5 minutes.
  4. Add in the balsamic vineagar & chili sauce and fry for a couple more minutes until the Broccoli, or greens are cooked to your desired level.
