Top of stove Brisket

Ingredients: 

4oz. tom. paste
1 1/2 cups Red Wine
41/2 cups beef brooth
carrots,celery tyme & bay leaf

4lb Brisket
3tbls oil
garlic
onion


  1. salt & pepper both sides of meat
  2. Brown both sides in sauce pan, remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Put onions and garlic in same pan, stir till translusant
  4. Add tom. paste stir all together.
  5. Add wine, beef brooth & herbs. Stir
  6. Place meat back in pan, cover with lid & simmer for 21/2 hrs.
  7. Then place veggies on top of meat & simmer 1 more hour.
  8. Remove from pan, slice, pour veggies & brooth over & serve
