Ultimate Turkey Burger

Ingredients: 

Ground Turkey Meat
Fresh Thyme, minced
Chives or Scallions, minced
Kosher salt
Pepper, to taste
Butter or Olive oil, to add fatmoisture


  1. Combine turkey, thyme, chives, salt, and pepper and mix lightly
  2. Form patties
  3. Place on hot grill
  4. After a minute, flip to get a sear on both sides
  5. Place a pad of butter on each burger
  6. Turkey is lean but must be well done.  Remove after 6 - 10 minutes.  Burgers will cook for a while after being removed.  The butter and olive oil adds moisture so you'll always have a tasty burger.

Tips:  This turkey burger came out so flavorful, it tasted like sausage, in a good way. Serve with something involved cranberries. Great for people doing paleo or gluten free.

I always get my ground turkey from DiPaola's, which is available at 10-15 green market's around NYC including Union Square and Thompkins Square Park

I dont think butter is paleo

good point! i'd recommend a teaspoon of olive oil instead of butter for those on paleo. will adjust the recipe.
