Maybe it's because I ate my very large, filling birthday cupcake before I ate dinner, but it wasn't as good as it looked. Not bad, though - my husband had seconds.
I didn't really end up making this recipe - this was my first lasagna and I didn't realize lasagna is more of an idea than a recipe. I used pasta sauce I had on hand, and colby jack cheese because we tend to use it for everything, but other than that I did the layering detailed above. It turned out wonderful, and I have never had better tasting lasagna!
