Followed recipe and it was VERY BLAND. No Salt, only 1/4 cup vinegar. Ended up really dosing it up, but still rather bland flavor. Would probably eliminate most of the water next time and perhaps brown the cabbage in a skillet (but that takes away from one pan idea).
Very dry. Good flavour. Was using a new crock pot so that may have something to do with it but it was VERY DRY and very dark from the soy sauce - looked NOTHING like the pictures. Will try again, perhaps use thighs or something and tone down the soy sauce. Was a bit disappointed.
