Too sweet, not enough apple flavor. Next time, will omit pudding mix (cut down on sweetness), and add more apples.

Tip from SmittenKitchen: The full amount of potatoes might not fit right in your dish. Consider slicing up all of your potatoes, grabbing a few dishes that may potentially work (a cast iron skillet would be great here), and playing around with the potato slices. When you figure out what dish you want to use, then put the butter/oil in the bottom and set it up.
