Apple Butter Laced Stuffed Squash



4-5 small winter squash, I used small acorn and sweet dumpling

for stuffing

1 medium sized eggplant, roasted and chopped into pieces
4 large portobello caps, chopped into small pieces
8 oz tempeh
1- 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 cup onion, finely minced
1/3 cup apple butter

for inside the squash:

tbsp or 2 or margarine or olive oil
turbinado sugar
