Apple Crisp, small


A nice size Apple Crisp that will fit in an 8x8 pan. A nice option is to add about 1/2 cup of raisins to the Apple mixture.


4-6 apples peeled corned and sliced
2 tablespoons of white sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 stit
1 stick frozen butter

1) pre heat oven to 350°
2) Toss apples with sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinamon
3) Pour mixture into a greased 8x8 pan
4) in separate bowl mix flour, oats and remaining cinamon
5) Using a grater, grate frozen butter directly in to the mixture
6) Using your hands thoroughly mix in the butter forming small pears of butter
7) Spread mixture evenly over the apples
8) Bake for 40 minutes until the top is golden brown
