Black Bean Puree

Notes: 

Don't forget to reserve 1/4 cup of the bean liquid after you drain the cans. And don't rinse the beans after draining them. The liquid left clinging to them helps create a puree with a silky consistency

15½-ounce cans black beans, drained (do not rinse), ¼ cup liquid reserved

chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
2
teaspoons adobo sauce
2
tablespoons lime juice
Kosher salt and ground black pepper
½
cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
