Bourbon Chicken Teriyaki


Bourbon marinade:
3 cups water
½ cup vegetable oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon ground white pepper
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup bourbon

Teriyaki Sauce:
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
½ cup soy sauce
¼ mirin
¼ cup white granulated sugar
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
¼ cup cold water

4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 green onions, thinly sliced
