Ingredients: 

1 slice high-quality white sandwich bread, crusts removed, torn into pieces
½ cucumber, peeled, halved lengthwise, seeded, and shredded
Salt
½ cup plus 2 tbsp 2 percent greek yogurt
3 scallions, sliced thin
3 tbsp minced fresh cilantro
Pepper
¾ cup drained and rinsed canned chickpeas
1 large egg
4 tsp olive oil
¼ tsp garam masala
Pinch cayenne pepper
1 small shallot, minced
Lime wedges, for serving
