Chickpea Granola Bars

1 15 oz. can chickpeas, rinsed and drained (or soak and cook your own like this)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp sucanat
1 1/2 cup oats (be sure to find gluten-free if you have a sensitivity)
1 cup whole grain cereal* (I used Cascadian Farms multi-grain squares)
1 cup dried fruit or vegan chocolate (I used chocolate in this recipe)
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
1/3 cup agave nectar or wild-harvested honey
3 tbsp cold-pressed virgin coconut oil
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1/4 cup pure warm water
