2c shredded colby cheese
1/4 c minced onion
1c milk
1/2c beef stock
2T butter (melted)
1t salt
dash of garlic powder
1/4t ground black pepper
1. Preheat oven to 425 2. Combine the frozen hash browns, cheese, and onions in a large bowl 3. Combine milk, beef stock, half of melted butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper in another bowl. Mix until well blended, pour in hash browns, mix well. 4. Heat remaining butter in a large oven proof skillet over high heat. 5. When skillet is hot, spoon hash brown mixture in. Cook stirring occasionally until hot and all of the cheese has melted. 6. Put skillet in oven and bake 45-60 minutes or until the surface of the hash browns is dark brown.
