Cupcake Maker Red Velvet Cupcake

Ingredients: 

2 1/2 cUPS all-porpose flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cups baking Cocoa (powdered)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter (2 Sticks) at room tempreture
5 Large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla essance
1 teaspoon red food colouring


  1. Preheat Cupcake Maker until the ready light turns on
  2. Line the cupcake wells with paper cups
    or
    use non stick spray
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl
  4. Sift dry ingredients three times
  5. Cream Together butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  6. Add eggs one at a time, Making sure to beat well after each egg
  7. Add 1/4 of the dry ingredients to creamed mixture and then approximatly 1/4 of the buttermilk alternating and mix well
  8. Mix in vanilla nad food colouring
  9. Spoon the cupcake batter into paper cups until full.

    or

    directly into greased wells, until they are 1/2 to 2.3 full
  10. Bake for 5-8 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the comes out clean /li>
  11. Remove and allow to cool
  12. once cooled frost as disired
