Curried Lentils With Yoghurt

Is it possible to do this in one pot? Probably not but check!

Ingredients: 

120g Lentils
440ml Water
a slice or two of Onion (chopped)
a drop of Olive Oil
120g of Yoghurt
a sprinkle of Sugar or Honey
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. In a saucepan, heat water, lentils, onion, and a bit of salt to boiling over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and cook, partially covered, until lentils are tender but not mushy-about 20-25 min.
  3. Meanwhile, in medium-size skillet, heat oil over medium heat; add curry and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes; stir in yogurt, honey, and remaining 1/4 tsp. salt.
  5. Drain lentil mixture in strainer
  6. Fold in yogurt mixture and serve
