Double Red Velvet Cupcakes

Red Velvet Cake:
1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix
3 eggs
1/2 C. oil
1 C. sour cream
1/3 C. buttermilk or milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Red Velvet Cake Batter Frosting:
1/2 C. butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese (or 1/2 C. butter, softened)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 C. Red Velvet Cake Mix (dry powder, sifted to remove lumps)
2 Tbsp. milk
3-4 C. powdered sugar, as needed
