Egg Foo Yung

5 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sherry/rice wine
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup mix vegetable (frozen)
1/2 cup bean sprouts

1/4 cup chopped onions or green onions
1/4 cup meat (pork/beef/chicken/shrimp)
2 tablespoons of flour

1 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon red wine
1/2 teaspoon corn starch

  1. Scramble eggs agg remaining ingredients
  2. cook in the bottom of a wok with a bit of oil, this works better than a sauce pan as it give the egg foo yung a deeper center and still have crispy edges

Wisk all ingredients together and bring to a boil to think, add a touch of corn starch if needed.
