FLUFFY CRANBERRY PIE W/ PRETZEL CRUST

Notes: 

The original recipe calls for strawberries, strawberry Jell-O and lime juice & zest. Since 2 cups of chopped fresh cranberries would not have the same texture as 2 cups of crushed strawberries, I think a combination of fresh cranberries and cranberry relish would work better. Some experimentation may be required.

Ingredients: 

PRETZEL CRUST:
1 1/4 cups crushed pretzels
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted

PIE FILLING:
3/4 cup boiling water
1  package (4-serving size) cranberry-flavored gelatin
1  teaspoon grated orange peel
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
1 cup cranberry relish
