4 cups (1l) water
2 cups (400g) sugar
pinch salt

I've been making up a recipe like this for ginger cocktails for a while. Nice to see recommendation for making ginger syrup.

Thanks Phil, I made a batch of this the other day for the first, it turned out really nicely.

I also had a Moscow Mule for the first time this weekend so I could totally see this for cocktails! Glad you've been enjoying it, now it's time for me to catch up.
