Hawaiian Pork or Chicken


Simple and tasty, use any kind of pork or chicken! A perfect slow cooker meal!


2 pounds of pork chops, or chicken
1/2 cup Sour sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 oz can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoons corn starch
3 cloves of pressed garlic
1/2 cup water
1 15 oz can of pineapple chunks
1 medium onion rough chop
1 pepper green or red, rough chop
1 carrot thinly sliced optional
Cilantro finely chopped for a garnish.

Place all ingredients except pineapple, onion and pepper in slow cooker and whisk thoroughly.

Add veggies and pineapple with juice and stir in.

Place meat in mixture and submerge as best you can.

Cook on low for six hours or high for approx 4 hours, until meat is very tender. Add more corn starch as a slurry if needed an d cook until thick.

Serve over white rice. Garnish with cilantro.
