3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon mirin
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons kalbi bbq sauce (if you have it)
1 teaspoon finely grated peeled fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons honey
2-4 (1-inch-thick) pork chops
Cut scallions diagonally into 2-inch pieces.
Whisk together remaining ingredients except pork in a large bowl. Add scallions and pork, turning pork to coat generously with sauce. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
Cook pork chops in a skillet over medium to high heat a couple minutes on each side to sear. Then reduce heat and cover, cook until done.
Remove chops from pan and add marinade. Reduce down by half and serve over pork as sauce.
