Homemade Nut Butter

Ingredients: 

1 cup raw or roasted nuts of your choice (almonds, cashew, peanuts, etc)


  1. Blend in a food processor until nut butter appears.
  2. May need to add a little egg whites or oil to help create liquid consistency.
  3. It may seem as if nothing is happening at first when you are blending.  Be patient!
  4. What first appears, as chopped nuts will soon turn into nut butter right before your eyes!
  5. Some of my favorites are cinnamon almond butter, chocolate peanut butter (by adding cocoa powder and Stevia), cashew/almond butter, and banana but butter by adding a banana into the mix.
  6. Once again, get creative!  Also awesome adding flaxseed into the nut butters!
