Honey Banana Poppy Seed Muffins


1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon kosher salt
3 large bananas, very ripe and mashed (about 1 cup)
⅓ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup whole milk or buttermilk
¼ cup honey
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
raw sugar, for sprinkling (optional)
