Honey Sesame Chicken


4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Salt and Pepper

1 cup of Honey

1/2 cup of Soy Sauce

1 tbsp of Onion Flakes

1/4 cup of Ketchup

2 tbsp of Vegetable Oil

2 tbsp of Minced Garlic

4 tsp of Cornstarch dissolved in 6 tbsp of Water

Sesame Seeds

Season both sides of chicken lightly with salt and pepper and place them into the crock pot. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, onion flakes, ketchup, oil, and garlic, Pour over chicken and cook on Low for 3-4 hours or on high 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 hours, or just until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from crock pot but leave the sauce in it. Dissolve 4 teaspoons of cornstarch in 6 tablespoons of water in a bowl and then pour into the crock pot. Stir to combine with the sauce. Replace lid and cook sauce on high for 10 more minutes. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and then return it to crockpot and mix with the sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving. Serve over white rice (optional).
