Italian Pasta Salad

kept byasp_
recipe byAllRecipes
Notes:

I made this recipe without the peppers, onion, and black olives it originally called for and it was quite delicious! One thing to note -- this is actually a HUGE amount of pasta salad so the recipe as is will be great for big gatherings, but should perhaps be halved at least if you're making it just to have around the house to munch on. Otherwise, the flavors here are fantastic. Please see the link for the original version as well.

Ingredients:

12 ounces tri-color rotini pasta
3/4 pound Italian salami, finely diced
1 cup Italian salad dressing
8 ounces finely shredded mozzarella
1 (0.7) ounce package dry Italian salad dressing mix
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain and rinse with cold water until cool.
  2. Combine pasta, salami, salad dressing, and mozzarella cheese in a large bowl. Mix dry salad dressing into pasta; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
