Korean Roast Chicken Thighs Recipe

8 chicken thighs, skin on
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 white or yellow onion cut in 1/4s
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons honey
2 - 4 cloves garlic
1 - 2 inch piece of ginger peeled and sliced ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Great! I marinated in a plastic bag for 1/2 hr. i put sauce in food processor to mince garlic and yellow onion. SO EASY!

6 chicken thighs, skin on
1/2 cup soy sauce
4-6 minced green onions
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons honey
3 cloves minced garlic
1" minced fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon of Korean Red Pepper Flakes


1) Mix ingredieants together and put into a zip lock bag with chicken thighs.

2) Marinade at least 1 hour ideally overnight.

3) Bake at 350 on baking rack in a roasting pan for 20 minutes then turn overand finish after another 20 minutes. To ensure a crisp skin. Or grill on the BBQ!

4) Take reserved marinade and reduce with a teasponn of corn starch on the stove for a great sauce.

5) Drizzle sauce over chicken and sprinkle sesame seeds on top, Serve over jasmine rice.
