Lavender Scones

I might have a better version, somewhere... They don't even tell you to season anything with the lavender. Tsk.

Ingredients: 

3 C flour +
3/4 C sugar
1 TBS baking POWDER
1 tsp lavender buds
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp baking SODA
3/4 C chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/4" cubes
1 C +2 TBS buttermilk
2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBS sanding sugar (or granulated)
1-1/2 C lemon curd
