Manuela Kjeilen Brownies

Ingredients: 

2 sticks butter
300 g chocolate chip
1 tbs vanilla
3/4 cup sugar ( brown and granulated)
1 tsp salt
4 large eggs
1 cup flour
200 g walnuts ( optional )
1 cup chocolate chunk ( optional )
1 cup marshmallows ( optional )

Topping
50 g walnuts
50 g chocolate chip
50 g digestive biscuit chunks
50 g marshmallows
Sprinkle hot brownie right out of the oven with topping ingredients starting with biscuit, marshmallow, chocolate chip and walnuts.
Return brownie into the oven for another 8-12 minutes depending on your desirable browning.

Chocolate sauce
50 g chocolate chip
1 tbs sugar syrup
3 tbs heavy cream
Melt chocolate chip and syrup in microwave approximately 1/2 minute, stir well.
Add heavy cream and stir well together.
Drip chocolate sauce with a spoon over the cake. Cool a few hours before cutting.


Preheat oven to 200F.
Put butter and chocolate in a glass bowl, melt in microwave approx 2 minutes. Stirring with spatula after 1st minute. Stir well until butter and chocolate is melted and well blended.
Using a spatula stir in sugar, mix well.
Add eggs one at a time whisking manually after each one until it becomes a thick and fuller batter.
Mix flour and salt, using spatula stir in flour and blend well until it becomes a rich nice batter.
Stir in walnuts (optional ).
Stir in marshmallow or chocolate chip ( optional ).
Pour mixture in a square pan 18x26 cm greased and lined with baking sheet.
Bake for approx 35 minutes. Take it out of the oven and cool completely before cutting.
Add topping ( optional ).
