Marinated Calamari Salad

•1 ½ pounds cleaned squid, tubes and tentacles
•2 tablespoons lemon juice
•2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
•2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
•1 large garlic clove, minced
•½ teaspoon salt
•¼ teaspoon black pepper
•½ red onion, halved lengthwise, then thinly slice crosswise
•15 pitted kalamata olives, halved lengthwise
•2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved (¾ pound)
•1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
•1 cup loosely packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
•½ cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves
