Mee in thick sauce

Ingredients: 

Mee
1L chicken stock
100g marinara
75g cabbage, diced
50g carrot, shredded
4 button mushrooms, diced
2 dried Chinese mushrooms, diced
0.5tsp ginger, minced
0.5tsp garlic, chopped
1tbsp oil
1tsp sesame oil

Seasoning:
1tbsp sesame oil
1tsp cooking wine
0.25tsp sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Thickening:
1tbsp cornflour
1tbsp water


Season marinara with salt, pepper and sesame oil.

Blanch noodles.

Heat oil and sesame oil, fry ginger and garlic. Toss in mushrooms and marinara. Next add cabbage and carrot, then pour in chicken stock. Bring to the boil.

Add the seasoning and Thicken with cornflour thickening. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Add the noodles before serving.
