New York Egg Cream


3 tablespoons chocolate syrup. Ubet is the preferred NY brand. But you can use anything you have available.

1/2 cup milk, usually whole or 2% is best

8 oz selter water

  1. In a 16oz glass pour in syrup
  2. Add milk and stir vigorously
  3. Pour in Selter water to about 2 inches from the top, pour onto a tall spoon so the seltzer doesn't fizz up too much
  4. Mix thouroughly
  5. Enjoy!
