Olla (Garbanzo)

Start with a beef chuck roast, (if available a small piece of soup bone) cover well with water and add 2 or 3 cans of garbanzos. Cook until meat is tender, about 2 to 2 ½ hours. Just before this point add ½ head of cabbage and continue to cook. Add a small amount of salt to taste.

When this is done, drain 2/3 broth into another pot and bring to boil. Add about 3 handful of angel hair spaghetti, cook until tender. About 10 minutes should be enough.
