Peach Raspberry Galette


1¼ cup all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cut into cubes
2 tablespoon shortening, cold and cut into cubes
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ cup ice cold water
2-3 firm ripe peaches (make sure they are firm so they hold their shapes during baking)
1 firm ripe nectarine
½ cup raspberries
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons cornstarch or flour
1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons turbinado sugar for sprinkling
