Petite Pea Soup

Really Easy but really yummy.

DO NOT USE BLENDER TO PUREE SOUP! I tried it and ended up with second degree burns on my face....

Ingredients: 

1 lb of frozen petite peas

2 cups chicken broth

2 Tablespoons unsalted butter

¼ of an onion diced

Splash of Milk

Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Melt unsalted butter in medium sauce pan, add diced onion, sauté/soften until translucent do not caramelize the onions. 

  2. Add 2 cups of chicken broth and frozen peas, bring to a boil, turn down heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes until peas are tender but not mushy. 

  3. Add salt and pepper to taste. 

  4. Use a hand stick blender to puree until there are no real chunks left. 

  5. Add a splash of milk mix in, add more salt and pepper to taste 

    Takes 10 minutes…
