Notes: 

Well, this was yummy. Of course, I rarely stick with the original recipe. I used just used regular 85/15 ground beef. Used H2O rather than beer (like a beer would make it long enough around here to be in a recipe). I could not find fire roasted tomatoes so I used Italian.

The accouterments really make this. The bacon and scallions really add to this. I did not really taste the cheddar cheese at all. Wasted time and calories?

Definitely a keeper recipe.

Ingredients: 

1 pound spaghetti
Salt
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, 1 turn of the pan
3 slices smoky bacon, chopped
1 pound ground sirloin
1 medium onion, chopped
3 to 4 cloves garlic, chopped
Ground black pepper
2 teaspoons hot sauce, eyeball it
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it
1/2 cup beer
1 (14-ounce) can, chopped or crushed fire roasted tomatoes
1 (8-ounces) can, tomato sauce
8 ounces sharp Cheddar
4 scallions, chopped
