Roasted Garlic Chicken

Ingredients: 

100 grams chicken sliced
1 serving Melba toast crumbs
¼ cup chicken broth or water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Bragg’s liquid aminos
2 cloves of garlic sliced
¼ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Marinate chicken in liquid ingredients.
  2. Add dry spices to Melba toast crumbs and coat chicken with the herbed mixture.
  3. Place chicken in a small baking dish and add marinade to the bottom.
  4. Cover the chicken breast with slices of garlic and bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and lightly brown.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley.
  6. Phase 3 Modifications: baste chicken breast with olive oil.  
  7. Add parmesan cheese to make the coating.
  8. Makes 1 serving (1 protein, 1 Melba toast)
