Roasted Tomatillo Salsa

Made 9 1/2 pint jars (plus a small amount left over) We did not use the cumin

Ingredients: 

4 pounds tomatillos
8 large garlic cloves
2 1/2 cup chopped onion
6 jalapeƱo, seeded and roughly chopped
8 tablespoons bottled lime juice
1 1/2 cup cilantro leaves (not packed)
2 scant teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin ???
