Roasted Tomato Caprese with Avocado


Serves 3 or 4
Ready in 2 hours


1 large beefsteak tomato or 1 pint cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
4 large leaves fresh basil
1 tablespoon butter
3 thick slices of country bread
1 garlic clove
1/2 avocado, peeled and sliced thin
1/2 large burrata ball (mozzarella would work fine here)
1/2 lemon
