Rotisserie Duck with Honey Glaze and Drip Pan New Potatoes


1 (5-6 pound) duck
1 1/2 tablespoons Kosher salt
1 1/2 pounds new potatoes, halved
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
Juice of 1 lime (rind saved to stuff the bird)
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
A few thyme and rosemary sprigs, for stuffing the bird
A few thyme sprigs, tied together to make a brush
