6 oz (approx 6 C) baby spinach leaves
1 pint (approx. 16 medium-size) fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered or sliced
1/4 C thinly sliced red onion
1/4 C crumbled feta cheese
3-4 T raspberry poppy seed dressing*
1/2 C candied pecan pieces**

1/4 C grated/minced onion (half of a small onion)
1/2 C raspberry vinegar; may substitute white wine vinegar
1/4 to 1/2 C sugar, to taste
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 C olive oil
1/2 C canola oil
1-1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Sweet & Spicy Candied Pecans:
1 large egg white
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1-1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp cayenne (optional--to add some kick)
1 T vanilla
1 T water
4 C (1 lb) raw pecan halves
