20 gm ikan bilis
1 T cocunut milk
125 ml of water
1 t tumeric paste
To blend
15 dried chillies
3 fresh chillies
3 cloves of garlic
10 gm of ikan bilis (from the 20 gm)
Salt n sugar for taste
5 to 7 TB of oil
Fry the ikan bilis
Dry it on a paper towel
Fry the rempah till fragrant
Add the shallots
Add the water
Stir for 3 or 4 min
Add the cocunut milk
Add in tumeric paste
Fry to 3 to 5 min
Add in some sugar and salt for taste
