Simple holiday brisket

5 lb Brisket
2 Envelopes Onion Soup Mix
2 Cans of Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 ½ Cups Heinz Ketchup
½ Cup Chili Sauce
1 Cup Brown Sugar

Mix all ingredients (not brisket) in a bowl.

Place the brisket in roasting pan – pour sauce over meat.  Flip meat to be sure sauce is all over meat.

Cover with aluminum foil tightly.  Cook for 4 hours on 350°F. (or 10 hours on low in the slow cooker.)  Let sit to cool and refrigerate.  

When cool, slice and return to refrigerator.  Heat before serving.   

Note: Can add cut carrots and potatoes after 2.5 hours of cooking if desired.  Best if cooked a day or two ahead.
