Slow cooked Ham Hock

Ham Hock is simply the shank of the pig and as you would expect it needs a long time cooking. It’s really, really cheap and can be really really salty so you need to invest some time with this bad boy in order to blow the pants off your dinner guests!

2 Ham hocks, skin on
2 tbs English mustard
1 tbs brown sugar
Cracked black pepper and Maldon salt
1 large red onion roughly chopped
2 large ‘mash’ style spuds
3 bay leaves
10 pepper corns
