Spaghetti Bolognese


Italians use a mixture of beef and pork mince to make bolognese. Parboil carrots.


2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
2 carrots
500g minced beef and pork
Streaky rashers/pancetta
2 x 400g tins of chopped tomatoes
tomato puree
olive oil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
fresh basil
red wine
100g Parmesan cheese
400-500g spaghetti
