Spicy Black Bean Falafel


1 can black beans drained
1 can chick peas drained
1 large onion, roughly chopped
4 tablespoons parsley
4 tablespoons cilantro (can also just use 8 tablespoons cilantro)
8 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-3 teaspoons red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to taste
2-4 teaspoons salt to taste
1/3 cup baking flour
1/4 cup bulgur wheat (FYI; You can usually get Bulgur from any grocery that has bulk food bins. In Brooklyn, try Sahadi's, Natural Land, Back to the Land, etc. )
oil for frying

garnish options: chopped tomato, diced onion, bell pepper, diced cucumber
sauce options: tahini, cucumber yogurt sauce
